During Samkele’s time a IQBusiness, he was a consulting for a large African Bank. Samkele's pivotal role is designing and managing the Kaizen design system ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects and their respective platforms, positively impacting the digital best practices and promoting a culture of design governance. Samkele’s contributions included ideation, creating visual artefacts, user task flows, UI screen designs, prototyping, refining designs based on user feedback and testing, and partaking in Agile methodologies for collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams driving solutions aligned with business goals and requirements. His role cut across various projects namely the Equity Mobile banking app, the branch services hub, corporate internet banking and queue management system which were key pillars for the bank's digital transformation and strategic goals. Clients worked on at IQBusiness include Equity Bank, CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research), BlueLabel Telecoms and IRBA (The Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors) and OM Bank.
